Let’s Bar Run Magazine is officially opening submissions—and we’re looking for bar experience writers across the United States who know their local nightlife scene inside and out.
From hidden cocktail lounges and luxury hotel bars to neighborhood dives with unforgettable energy, Let’s Bar Run Magazine exists to document how people actually experience bars, not just where they are. If you love storytelling, nightlife culture, and capturing the vibe of your city after dark, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking writers who can cover:
- Local bar crawls and curated bar runs
- Signature cocktails and wine experiences
- Luxury, upscale, and VIP nightlife experiences
- Cultural bar scenes (jazz bars, rooftop lounges, speakeasies, themed bars, etc.)
- Neighborhood staples and emerging hotspots
- Event-based bar experiences (tastings, themed nights, launches)
This is experience-first writing. We’re less interested in menus and more interested in:
- Atmosphere
- Crowd energy
- Service quality
- Music and mood
- What makes the experience memorable (or not)
Who Should Apply

- Hospitality professionals with a passion for nightlife culture
- Local insiders who know where people actually go
- Creators who enjoy exploring, reviewing, and documenting experiences
You do not need to be a professional critic—just authentic, observant, and consistent.
